Mary Faye Bosh, age 87 of Delaware died Sunday, January 11, 2004 at Wintersong Village.

She was born on January 23, 1916 in Washington, PA to the late Harve and Leona (Church) Stockdale. Graduate of Willis High School and a lifelong Delaware resident. She was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress for several area restaurants.

Mary was known for her cooking skills, enjoyed drawing pictures, and was a member of Troy Chapel Church. She also enjoyed making Christmas baskets for those in need and assisting the Salvation Army.

Survived by Sons: Bill (Edna) Johnson, Jerry (Becky) Gale, and Alan Bosh of Delaware, Daughter: Karen (Eldon) Askins of Lapeer, MI, 13 grandchildren, 25 Great-grandchildren, 11 Great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Husband; Frederick “Fred” Howard Bosh on July 16, 1994, whom she married Jan. 8, 1955, Brothers: James & John Stockdale, Sisters; Rowena Evans and Mildred McCord.

Friends may call Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware. Memorial services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Troy Chapel Church, US 23 N. at Penry Rd., Delaware, Pastor Earl Smith officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Radnor Cemetery.
