Mary Etta Farmer

Mary Etta Farmer, age 87 of Fredericktown, has taken her heavenly flight to join our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday morning September 26, 2012 at the home of her daughter near Frazeysburg.
She was born on March 11, 1925 in Leet, WV to the late Toney and Emmie (Frye) Paris. She was a homemaker and a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church, Centerburg.
Mary loved the dirt and all things that grew in it whether it be vegetables or flowers. Mary was a great cook and was known for her cabbage rolls, chicken and dumplings and pies, especially her chocolate pie. Mary loved her family and memories of her playing Red Rover with her children and singing with her husband in church was special to them.
Survived by sons: Ronald (Lana) Farmer of Ulysses, KY, Marion (Margaret) Farmer Jr of Canon City, CO,; daughters: Joan (Charles) DeBoard of Centerburg, Sandra K. (Dana) McDowell of Frazeysburg; grandchildren: Ronald (Brenda), Alan (Anita), Brian (Erica) Farmer, Kathy (Gregory) Colangelo, Mary Kathryn Farmer, Nicloe Marie (Kevin) Carpenter, Heather West Parrish; 15 great grandchildren; brother: Charlie (Betty) Paris of Leet, WV; sister: Nellie Neace of Eastlake.
Preceded in death by husband of 63 years: Marion G. Farmer on March 27, 2012; grandson: John DeBoard, great grandson: Blake Farmer; brothers: Anderson, Albert, Wetzel, Jeff Paris, sisters: Lula Adkins, Willie Payne.
Friends may call Friday at the Centerburg Enterprise Baptist Church, 377 N. Clayton Street, Centerburg, Ohio from 12-1 p.m. with the service to follow at 1p.m. with Pastor Mark Tuggle officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery.
