Mary Beth Wolf

November 22, 1954 ‒ March 29, 2009

Mansfield and Centerburg, Ohio

MANSFIELD ~ Few people could dance quite like Mary Beth Wolf. She had a love of music, old country songs and traditional hymns of the church, and dearly loved to hear her music played over and over. She would start to sing “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms,” “Soldier Boy” or “Michael Row Your Boat Ashore,” and pretty soon she’d be caught up with the music and start her unique style of dance.

Mary Beth, of 80 Miller Street, Centerburg, passed away Sunday evening March 29, 2009 from the Canterbury Villa residence she called home for the past 20 years.

She was a young 54 years old, but is now made whole and complete, joining her parents before the Lord. Mary Beth has all of eternity to give glory to God.

Born November 22, 1954 in Ashland, Mary Beth was the third child of John and Cleva (Bletz) Wolf. She attended both Lexington Local and Richland New Hope Schools.

She attended Hilltop Community Church, and could entertain herself for hours by reading, or in the company of her stuffed animals ~ most all of them jet-black!

She is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara & Dr. Ronald Cyphers of Bellville and Becky & Blain Tilton of Butler; her brother and sister-in-law Dr. Thomas & Kathy Wolf of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

Her parents are now deceased.

The Wolf Family will receive friends Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery on German Church Road.
