MANSFIELD: Mary Ann Culler passed away January 28, 2019 in her home. She was 92.
She was born December 3, 1926 in Butler, Ohio to parents William E. & Floy Metta (Secrist) Maglott. Mary Ann was graduated from Mansfield Senior High with the class of 1944. She enjoyed visiting with fellow alumni at their class reunions.
On July 18, 1948, she married Robert Norris Culler and they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage until he passed away in 1999. Now they are together again.
Mary Ann was self-employed working as a housekeeper.
A lifelong area resident, Mary Ann was a member of First Friends Church and was active with both the Lexington Senior Civic Center and the Ontario Senior Center. She enjoyed lunching with her lady friends and playing cards.
She is survived by her son William Culler, Sr. and Christine Culler of Knoxville, TN; William Culler, Jr. of Twinsburg, Brant and Sarah Culler of Mansfield, Lisa and Patrick Vidonish of Kingsport, TN, and Nathan Culler and Jenn Terres of Burlington, WI; four great grandchildren Anna and Lily Vidonish and Hayden and Harrison Culler; sister Martha and Don Garber of Canton; niece Susie and Steve Fockler; nephew Danny Garber.
In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jeannette Swisher.
The Culler family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring Mary Ann’s life will begin immediately at 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Condo will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Bellville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made at the funeral. Please, make checks payable to First Friends Church.
