Martha J. Bishop, 85, of Galion passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at home.

Born August 29, 1930 in Caledonia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Viola (Fagley) Henry. She married Lewis Bishop on February 26, 1955 and he preceded her on October 15, 2011.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Galion and worked as a bus driver for Ontario Schools for 30 years and also worked for the former Village Care Nursing Center in Galion as an ST & A .

Martha is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rhonda Bishop of Clarksville, Georgia and Ronald and Kim Bishop of Galion; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Jean Henry of Galion; step-brother and spouse, Kenny and Beth Henry of Galion and adopted daughter, JoAnn Sharrock.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Bishop and two sisters.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2015, with Pastor Jerry Penrod officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
