  • Dear Uncle Ben, Carolyn, and Mike:

    I am so sorry to learn of Aunt Martha’s death, as she was certainly one of my favorite aunts. As I remember it from my growing up years, Aunt Martha was the glue that kept the Beamer family together. She was kind-hearted, gentle and patient, and always had a warm smile. Whenever we had family get-togethers, I recall looking forward to sampling her baked goods, which were always outstanding. (She’s the only person I ever knew who baked blueberry pies–my favorite–and they were always wonderful!)

    I also am so grateful to both Aunt Martha and you, Uncle Ben, for the friendship and companionship you gave my Mom and Dad during their adult lives, and especially during their later years. Mom and Dad always spoke so fondly of you both and always looked forward to spending time with you.

    My love and deepest sympathy goes out to you all. Take heart in knowing Aunt Martha’s memory is now and will always be cherished.

  • We were so sorry to hear about Aunt Martha’s passing, we will always treasure the visits we’ve had and all the nice conversations. She would always come to our Beamer Shindig held at our home and would always bring the best baked goods , no surprise that there were not any left overs of hers. Aunt Martha will be greatly missed and to Uncle Ben we want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family . God Bless

  • Dear Ben and Mike;
    How sorry I am to learn of Martha’s passing. When we moved to Galion and attended St. Mark, it was families like you that made us feel so welcome. As each one of those special families gain their heavenly reward it reminds of the great love that was shared with me, Theo and Laura. How you supported us through those difficult times. Now it is our turn to let you know how much it meant to us to have been counted as part of the St. Mark family. How much your friendship has meant to us. Although, we have not seen other in many years you have held a special place in our hearts. I could always count on Martha’s smile and gentle ways to make the Sunday so special. Ben your hearty handshake and welcoming smile meant more than words can ever express. Mike, you always had a kind word for me and my children. May God hold you in the palm of his hand and grant you peace through these days and the days to come.
    In Christ’s name,
    Kathleen Shaffer, Theo and Laura Moon
