Marshall Edward “Eddie” PITTMAN, age 58 of Mt. Vernon died unexpectedly Thursday, April 16, 2009 at his home on stagger hill.

He was born on September 25, 1950 in Gainesville, Florida to the late Marshall C. and Rosalie (Green) Pittman. A graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1969, he moved to Mt. Vernon from Sunbury in 1991. After 30 years with the Delaware County Berkshire outpost of ODOT, he retired in 2000. After retirement he worked in the stock yard of Producers in Mt. A member of the NRA and Sunbury Eagles Post #3614, he was happiest outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time on stagger hill.
