Marsha A. Hill, age 57 of Westerville died Friday, September 4, 2009 at The Ohio State Medical Center.
She was born on June 12, 1952 in Xenia, Ohio to the late Herbert R. and Julia Ann (Roberts) Wilson. A graduate of Cedarville High School in 1971, she moved to Westerville in 1997. A cosmetologist, she owned and operated her own salon in Xenia and while in the Lima area, she was employed by the Lima Tank Plant and Hills Dept. Store. She was currently employed at the Meijers on SR 23, store #143.
A member of the St. Paul AME Church in Cedarville, she was an avid OSU, Reds, and Bengals fan. She enjoyed time in Delaware working during The Little Brown Jug. Honest and kind, she will be remembered for her beautiful smile. Forever devoted to her family and her work, she was direct in her conversation. She treasured time spent with her precious son, grandchildren, sisters, and family.
She will be missed by her loving son: Adrian (Keisha) Hill of Douglasville, GA, grandchildren: Ashlie, Erin McKenzie, Shannon, Adrian Matthew, sisters: Sharon Collier of Columbus, Brenda (Steve) Jones of Lima, step-brothers: Karl Kirby of Zanesville, Leonard Kirby of Dayton, several nieces and nephews, including niece Marlowe Earley who assisted with her care, and former husband Conrad Hill of Atlanta, GA.
Friends may call Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. (SR 36), Delaware, where services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m., burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware.
