Mark Hill, 62, of Galion passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home.

He was born March 11, 1959 in Galion and was the son of the late Ervin Richard and Mary (Deffendoll) Hill.

Mark attended Galion City Schools and worked for many years as a self-employed Flooring Installer. He was a member of the American Legion Scarbrough Post 243, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4329 and AMVETS Polk Township Post 1979 all of Galion. Mark was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his step-mother Shirley Hill of Lexington; special aunt, Marilyn Johnson of Galion; his children, Mathew (Stephanie) Hill of Lexington, Tiffany (Jeff Carroll) Hill of Galion, Timothy (Jada Carroll) Hill of Galion and Daniel Hill of Galion; 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Gabe, Cameron, Caleb and Addison Hill, Ethen & Trent Seybert, Mason Trimble and Aria & Ezra Hill; brother Michael Hill of Galion; sisters Pamela Dalzell, Kimberly (Brian) Daughtery, Kristie Cheeseman all of Hixon, Tennessee, Rebecca (Robert) Gardner of Galion, Terri (Sean) Longstreth of Galion, Julie (Kevin) Lambert of Lexington, Sherry (Danny) Greco of Mary Esther, Florida and Lori (Chad) Davis of Bucyrus and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 and encourages people to come casual and wear their Cleveland Browns apparel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery, Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses in care of the funeral home.
