Mansfield, Ohio

Marjorie Jean Tully passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield. She was 86.

She was born August 8, 1930 the only child of Harold & F. Margaret (Peg)(Ackerman) Sellick in Mansfield. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College in PA focusing on education and biology. On August 20, 1954 she married the love of her life, Walton Tully.

Marge was a loving and dutiful Pastor’s Wife who followed her husband all across Ohio ministering to many and serving more than seven congregations. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and will be remembered for her dry sense of humor.

In her spare time, she took pleasure in bird watching and taking care of her Siamese cats Koko and YumYum. She also enjoyed playing card games on the computer. But above all, Marge cherished spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Walton Tully of Mansfield; son Pastor Bruce (Lisa) Tully of Lancaster, PA; two daughters Sheryl (Jerry) Krocek of Berea, OH, and Linda Tully of Cleveland; five grandchildren Elizabeth Tully, Patrick (Valerie) Tully, Laura Tully, Justin (Sarah) Krocek, and Cpl. Zachary (Hallee) Krocek; two great-grandchildren Declan and Sullivan, and Tully twins on the way; sister-in-law Jeanne (Ray) Raney of NC; along with numerous friends of all walks of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service honoring Marge’s life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. and her son Pastor Bruce Tully will officiate the service.
