Formerly of Westerville, Ohio
Marjorie “Margie” Lorraine Hollerbach, age 89, of Marengo, OH and formerly of Westerville, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at Bennington Glen.
She was born on September 10, 1929 in St. Paul, MN to the late Elmer and Emma (Schrade) Lindeke. Marjorie graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul, MN in 1947. She met the love of her life Francis “Fran” Hollerbach in St. Paul, where they were married September 17, 1949. Together they shared almost 49 wonderful years raising their daughter and making a home.
A proud traditional homemaker, Marjorie enjoyed cooking, playing cards, nature gazing, reading, and taking long drives in the country with Fran. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fond memories include going to Bass Lake Cheese Factory and treating the kids to their favorite cheese curds. Her greatest achievement was raising a successful daughter (along with husband Fran, of course) and seeing her raise a successful family of her own.
Marjorie is survived by daughter Connie Goodman, Galena, OH; sister Carol (Paul) Pariseau, Dresser, WI, and grandchildren: Michael (Kelly) Goodman, Knoxville, TN; Christine Goodman (Chris Riegel), Columbus, OH; and Kelly Goodman (Eric Prince), Cardington, OH, along with nine great-grandchildren . In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by infant great-grandson Eli Prince,
A graveside service will be held Thursday morning, March 26th, 2019 at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Local services provided by the Wulff Funeral Home of St. Paul.
