Marion G. Wiseman Jr.

Marion G. “Speedy” Wiseman, Jr., 80, of Waldo died Friday December 15, 2006 at the Community Health Care Center in Marion.
He was born on March 7, 1926 at Norton, Ohio, Delaware County the son of the late Marion G. and Ethel (Osborn) Wiseman.
Marion married his loving wife of 63 years, Clara Mae Moyer on August 26, 1943.
As a Veteren of the United States Army he served his country during World War II in Europe with the 94th Infantry. For his service he earned 2 battle stars. After his discharge from the service he worked as a carpenter and construction worker; working out of the local union office.
He loved hunting, fishing for Pike in Lake Huron, and most of all being with his family. Marion was a charter member of the Waldo Legion Post #605 and a member of the Carpenters Local Union, Marion.
He will be missed by his wife, their four children; Carole (Joe) Firstenberger of Bradenton, Florida, Steven (Bea) Wiseman of Celina, Ohio, Michael (Peggy) Wiseman of Waldo, Ohio, and Christine (Craig) Lichtenberger of Prospect, Ohio, grandchildren; Tim Firstenberger of Sarasota, Florida, Tom (Vicky) Firstenberger of Bradenton, Florida, Tammy (Alan) McMurray of Bradenton, Florida, and Troy (Bridget)Wiseman of Kenton, Ohio, great grandchildren; Sarah and Michael Firstenberger and Travis and Taylor McMurray all of Florida and Zachary and Alanna Wiseman of Kenton, Ohio, and a sister Joan (Eddie) Lawrence of Oscoda, Michigan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother James W. Wiseman
Friends may call on the family on Monday December 18, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center Street, Marion. Graveside services with full military honors at Waldo Cemetery with Pastor Renee Ahern officiating will be held at a later date.
