Marilyn Maude Rinehart

November 21, 1940 ‒ July 09, 2018

Ontario, Ohio

Ontario – Marilyn Maude Rinehart went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 9, 2018. Those who knew her, knew she deeply loved her family and friends.  She is survived by her husband David, daughter and son-in-law Tammy & Bill Fitzrandolph, (Belleville) and son and daughter-in-law Tim & Veronica Rinehart, (Lexington) five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Marilyn was very creative and very generous.  She will be best remembered for her spectacular Christmas decorations, her passion for animals, her great cooking and her love for beautiful flower gardens.  She loved to entertain family & friends with cookouts, and pool parties. She was quick to bring something delicious to eat to anyone who needed it.

She was born in 1940 to James and Edna Barber. She graduated from Union High School and she attended Shenandoah Christian Church.

Family and friends will have a get together to remember Marilyn on July 22nd at the home of Tim & Veronica.

Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to serve Marilyn’s family and encourage you to share a fond memory or message of condolence to them at SnyderFuneralHomes.com

  • I’m saddened to hear of Marilyn’s passing. She and I graduated together.
We were good friends in school and had a lot of good times.
I used to see her at the stores often, but haven’t had contact with her for a long time
even though I thought about her.
I’m thankful she knew the Lord and we will see her again someday.
My prayers go out to you all and may the Lord comfort you only as He can.

  • Marilyn had such a friendly and energetic personality. She loved the Lord and loved His church. The roses she planted (or maybe it was David) at the Shenandoah Christian Church are still blooming. I’ve been taking care of them for you Marilyn and will always think of you when I tend to them.
We were always honored to be invited to the Rinehart home at Christmas time for great food, beautiful decorations and warm hospitality. Enjoyed seeing the family pets and especially the pet bird.
Heaven welcomes Marilyn, their new angel!
Love and prayers to David and the Rinehart Family.

  • As a Union High School classmate, I remember Marilyn’s quirky sense of humor. She made me laugh anytime I was with her.

I haven’t seen her for a long time, but she’s very clearly in my memory,

Thinking of you girl with fond memories.

  • As time goes by we lose touch
with friends who mean so very much,
laughter, joy and fun is how we describe this one.
Now Heaven has gained a gentle soul.
you will be missed dear friend.
Precious memories of my classmate !!
