Marilyn Jane MacCready, 77, of Lewis Center, Ohio died Wednesday morning at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville. She was born July 24, 1930 in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Francis Redford Dauphinee and Winnifred Mae Graham. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of the Coast Guard Auxillary for 15 years and a graduate of Horton Academy in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. She put everyone else first and was an excellent horseback rider and she loved to shop. She is survived by 3 sons, Bruce (Tamara) MacCready of Cardington, Robert MacCready of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, and Scott (Olga) MacCready of Cardington; daughter, Heather (Mike) Phillips of Harrod; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister, Sheila Allen of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 51 years, William MacCready. Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday March 1st at 11:00 am at Africa Cemetery.
