Marilyn K. Coffee, 61, of Ostrander passed away Friday evening, August 18, 2017 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on November 1, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to Walter and Carolyn (Perry) VanBrimmer.
Marilyn worked at several State Liquor Agencies throughout Central Ohio retiring after many years of service. She enjoyed gardening and had a passion for hunting arrowheads and mushrooms. She also loved all things Native American and Halloween.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Nelson (Mari) Coffee of Richwood; her mother, Carolyn VanBrimmer of Ostrander; grandchildren, Kayla Coffee, Mason Coffee, Jordan (Schuyler) VanBrimmer, Ashleigh Hall, Ethan Hall, and Jack Kratky; brothers, Junior (Julie) VanBrimmer and Steve VanBrimmer, all of Ostrander; sister, Lora King of Ostrander; numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, 2 infant daughters Danielle and Mildred and her former husband Kenneth Coffee.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5 – 8 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William St.), Delaware where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Newhouse Cemetery.
