Mount Gilead, Ohio
Marilyn Bartley, 97, of Mount Gilead died Wednesday afternoon, February 20, 2008 at the Woodside Village Care Center.
She was born on March 23, 1910 in Pikeville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Cleve and Isabel (Branham) Wallace.

She was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church, Ashcamp, Kentucky. Marilyn took her religion seriously and rested heavily on the Lord. She read her Bible regularly.

In her younger years Marilyn enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden, tending to the flowers. Her many travels led her out west, most notably to Las Vegas, to the slot machines.
She will be missed by her three children Bill ( Rose) Bartley of Galena, Ohio, Clyde (Sue) Bartley of Grove City, Ohio, and Betty Jo Lyons of Mount Gilead; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters Lessie Hay, Lois Lee, and Ruth Day.
