Marion, Ohio

Marie Ann Foust, age 67, of Marion, left her earthly form to be in a far grander place with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 12, 2013.

Marie Ann was born in Marion on March 4, 1946 to Russell and Ethel (Mack) Fett. She graduated from Pleasant High School in the class of 1964. One night while she and her girlfriends where “shooting the loop” she meet a young Charles Foust who was smitten from the start. He asked her for her number, took her on a date and the rest is history. They were married in Marion on November 21, 1969.

Marie Ann worked for Tecumseh Products where she was a material expediter.

She was a beautiful and radiant light on this earth, and is now shining even brighter in Heaven. Her voice was like the sound of a songbird on a bright spring morning. She loved to share this special gift with her family and friends. Her greatest achievement was being a loving wife of nearly 45 years, a phenomenal mother and an amazing grandmother. She lived her life with beauty, grace, pride and dignity.

Marie Ann had a strong faith and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She was diligent about reading her devotions and the Bible and filled her life with Christian and Gospel music.

Her legacy will live on through her devoted husband Charles Foust, her loving children: Jeffrey Foust and Julie Swihart; granddaughter Elizabeth Swihart; sister Shirley Weston; step-brother Ronald West and many beloved pets.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM; Funeral services honoring her life will be Thursday at the Trinity Baptist Church, 244 South Main St., Marion at 11AM with Dr. Richard Farmer officiating.
