Margaret Roberts, age 74 of Delaware passed away at home Saturday, June 16, 2018.

She was born on August 25, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Gail Saylor and Mable (Blanton) Spencer. The graduate of Olentangy High School worked as a retail clerk with the Harts, Wal-Mart, and Goodwill stores.

A member of the East Side Mission Church, she collected bells and enjoyed reading. Her life centered on friends and family, of whom she was most proud. Honest, loving, and kind, she will be remembered for her strong will and humble ways.

She is survived by sons: James Roberts and Brian Roberts (Desiree Adams); grandchildren: Courtney and Austin, sister Leona Roberts all of Delaware, brother Chalmer (Carol) Saylor, step-sisters Sharon Stultz and Sandra Saylor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years James in 1998, daughter Mary Roberts in 2016, and brother Sylvester Saylor.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 3:30 p.m. funeral services on Wednesday at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015 where Pastor Donnie Akers will officiate.  Burial will follow at a later date in Green Mound Cemetery next to her husband.
