Margaret J. “Mickey” Dill, 87, of Galion, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion.

Born June 10, 1926 in Huntington, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Frederick M. and Julia E. Kern Sell. She was preceded in death on Nov. 19, 1984 by her husband, T. R. “Dick” Dill whom she married on Feb. 25, 1945.

A 1943 graduate of Huntington High School in Huntington, Ind., Mickey was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon. Mickey and her husband, Dick, owned and operated the former Tiger Cleaners in Galion.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters-in-law, James H. and Sherrie Dill of Galion and T. Jeffrey and Caroline “Tink” Boord-Dill of Richmond, Ky.; one granddaughter, Kim Nate Lovely of Galion and two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Maggie.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest E. Sell and one sister, Dorothy Schilling.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church in Galion with Elder Dan Everly officiating. The family will receive friends, at First Presbyterian Church, one hour prior to the services.
