Marcia L. “Marcy” Hogle, age 46 of Bellville, died Wednesday August 17, 2016 at the Knox Community Hospital following a 2 year battle with cancer. Marcy was born August 31, 1969 in Mount Vernon. She was a 1987 graduate of Fredericktown High School and had been a licensed cosmetologist. She had been employed as office manager with Dr. Robert Rodstrom and Dr. James Carhart for many years and was currently employed with the Fredericktown Schools.

Marcy was a member of the Cincinnati Reds “Rosie Reds” and was a Supporting Member of the “Reds Hall of Fame”. As a teenager Marcy was a member of Rainbow Girls in Fredericktown. She was a member of the First Church of God in Fredericktown.

Surviving are her husband of 23 years David Hogle; her daughters Hannah Marie Hogle and Holly Sue Hogle both of the home; her father James (Wanda) Chandler of Mount Vernon; her mother Helen (Bob Blubaugh) Chandler of Mount Vernon; her sister Rhonda (Thomas) Goeppinger of Fredericktown; her brother James (Lynn) Chandler of Englewood, Florida; 3 nephews and 4 nieces. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronald and Janet (Litt) Hogle.

Friends may call Sunday August 21, 2016 from 1PM to 3PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11AM with Pastor Richard Prater officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericktown First Church of God 19535 Zolman Road, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019.

    I just wanted to express my condolences on loss of Marcie. I first met her when she worked at the doctors’ office. She was friendly, efficient and always made me feel special. I know she was loved by all who worked with her at school.
