M. Louise McMahon, age 89, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Country Court Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 2, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of Harry and Hattie (Spurgeon) Hutton. Louise previously worked at Ward Kraft in Fredericktown before retiring from the Knox County Career Center.

Louise was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good romance novel.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother that will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters; Diann Goossens of Mount Vernon and Paula (Floyd) Daubenmier of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, Robert Montgomery, Cody Goossens and Bruce (Karri) Daubenmier; granddaughter-in-law, Andrea Daubenmier Rees; five great grandchildren, Ian Montgomery, Makayla Montgomery, Ansley Daubenmier, Jace Daubenmier and Logan Daubenmier; three great great grandchildren, Bailee Montgomery, Cyrus Tipton and Benjamin Tipton; two sisters, Donnelda Baer of Michigan and Kathleen Bebout of Martinsburg, Ohio.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband John C. McMahon (1999), a grandson, Rich Daubenmier, a brother John Hutton and a sister, Norma Hutton.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where a Rosary will follow at 7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Father Mark Hammond as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
