Lydia E. Hackett, age 64, of Marion, died on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Marion Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

On May 12, 1956, Lydia was born in Erding, Germany, the only child of the late William Henry and Georgina Elisabeth (Kiefel) Clixby.  In 1960, her family moved to Obetz, Ohio, where she graduated from Hamilton TWP High School.

A loving homemaker, Lydia enjoyed taking care of her home and family.  She also had worked at Jolly Pirates Donuts in Columbus.

Lydia loved doing crossword puzzles and playing BINGO.

Very ornery, Lydia will be remembered as a jokester.

She will be missed by her two daughters: Heather (Pat) Burk, and Sarah Hackett; five grandchildren: Rio, Savannah, Elora, Samuel, and Alecia; and her former husband, Jerry Wayne Hackett.

Services will be observed privately by her family.
