Lucille G. Morris

LEXINGTON: Lucille G. Morris, 91, of Sherwood Drive, Lexington, died Monday morning January 3, 2005 in Winchester Terrace following a long illness.
She was born June 10, 1913 in Galion to Earl C. and Mayme E. (Elsasser) Prosser, and was graduated from Galion High School in 1931.
A homemaker, Lucille had also worked as secretary to the president at Therm-O-Disc for ten years.
She was a member of Cornerstone Grace Brethren Church, and had previously been a member of both Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church and Grace Haven Fellowship.
Remembered for her loving generosity, Lucille was the consummate mother, an awesome grandmother and an excellent cook.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia L. Nelson of Lexington; her son and daughter-in-law Thomas R. and Phyllis Morris of Deerfield, Illinois; five grandchildren Robert Morris, Jennifer Morris, Danielle Morris, Brian Nelson, and Christopher T. and Wanda Nelson; and a great granddaughter Delaney Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rexford M. Morris in 1977, as well as a sister Edna Hanson and a brother Charles Prosser.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2005 at 2 pm in Mansfield Memorial Park. Pastor Gene Witzky will officiate. The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
