  • Our precious little Lucas, you will always be with us in our thoughts and in that special place in our heart. You taught us so much about love in your short time we got to spend with you. Your Mommy and Daddy were so proud of you. You were so beautiful. Love Granny and Papaw Porter.

  • On a hill in the distance
A young boy quietly waits,
Patiently he watches
For his family at the gate.
His brown eyes shine so brightly
As hope swells within.
For soon he’ll see his loved ones
And never part again.
How joyous will be the meeting
As mother holds her child,
And father kisses softly
The angel, his lost child.
Once more they’ll hold each other,
And tears will be no more.
Forever they’ll be together
As they pass through heavens door.

    • Dear Justin, Katie, Luke and Family, You have been in our thoughts and prayers throughout Luke’s journey and even though he is now watching over you in heaven and you have memories of him today, he was a very special little boy who has left behind an everlasting impression of how strong love and faith are for everyone. We will always think of Luke in these days/months/years to come, including thinking of your family. We love you and we know you will one day be reunited with Luke in heaven. Until then, we pray that you continue to live your lives to the fullest and hope you try to grow your family again. Brent, Melissa, Hailey, and Ally Tumblin

  • Praise God for dear friends in these times of great sadness. Few close friends are encountered along a life. Time shows us those closest and no one knows how much time they are given. For this is left to let others count the hours. May Lucas’s short time be as a fruitful life span in your memories. For you spent it all with him, and him with you. Both in parting will treasure these moments and may you all be richer by them. Counting these days upon that day of the grand reunion. When He who comforts beyond measure with Lucas as one whom He treasures.
