Lowell S. Allen, 68, died at 8:23 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born April 30, 1951 to the late Lawrence and Nellie (Morrison) Allen. He married his wife, Donna on January 27, 1973, she preceded him in death in June of 2011.

Survivors include two sons, Paul (Laura George-Allen) Allen and Chad Allen, both of Delaware; one grandchild, Holden Allen; and two step-grandchildren, Nick George and Hannah George. He was preceded in death by one brother, Patrick; and one sister, Lorraine.

Mr. Allen was a Dairy Producer and Truck Loader for Borden Milk for over 15 years. He then went on to be a custodian for the Olentangy School District. He loved and felt honor caring for the students of Olentangy. He also enjoyed his twenty years of being a “Redcoat” usher at OSU football games. Lowell was a man that never knew a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling, and cheering on his football teams The Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio, 43015. Graveside service will be on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at St. Mary Cemetery.
