Louise Counts Jackson

Louise Counts Jackson, of rural Bellville, passed away Saturday evening May 28, 2011 in Country Meadow Care Center. She was 83.
Born July 22, 1927 in Columbus, Louise began working with F. W. Woolworth Company as a clerk and worked her way up into store management. She worked at the Mansfield store and retired as general manager from the Mt. Vernon store, serving the retailer nearly 40 years.
Louise enjoyed flower gardening at her country home as well as watching and feeding birds.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Carolyn & Roger Ritchie of Tuppers Plains, Aurelia & David Jones of Austintown; grandchildren Alice Hawthorne, Lisa & Scott Kidd, Amy Ritchie & Rodney Beegle and Keith & Julie Jones; great grandchildren Zakary Kidd, Kimberly Hawthorne, Emileigh Kidd, Kayla Hawthorne, Benjamyn Kidd and Brady Jones; step children Larry Jackson, Dale Jackson and Jeff Jackson and their families; and her constant companions Peanut (her Jack Russell Terrier) and Kitty Cat (her long haired cat).
Her husband Russell Lee Jackson preceded her in death on August 2, 2001. Also deceased are her parents Robert W. Park and Edna (Bradford) Deem.
Her family will receive friends this evening, Monday, May 30, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
Contributions in her memory to the Jefferson Township-Bellville Rescue Squad may be made at the funeral home.
