Loma J. Hanrahan

Loma J. Hanrahan, age 89 formerly of Delaware died Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at her home in Santa Barbara, CA.
She was born on April 15, 1912 in Sunbury to the late Perle and Winona Whitney Stanforth. She attended Sunbury High School and Ohio State University, a lifelong Delaware County resident until she moved to Santa Barbara in 1994. She had been employed for a number of years at Ohio Wesleyan University in the alumni records office. A active member of St. Mary Church, where she was a past president of the Altar and Rosary Society. She had volunteered with a number of local organizations including Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross, and was past president of the Sarah Moore Home Service Board and the Jane M. Case Hospital Aux. She enjoyed sewing, playing bridge, gardening, and especially tending to her roses.
Survived by Daughter: Mary Sue Marks of Livermore, CA, Son: Bill Hanrahan of Santa Barbara, Grandson: John Patrick Marks of Pleasanton, CA.
Preceded in death by her husband in 1978: John P. Hanrahan, who operated the former Hanrahan-Pletcher Funeral Home in Delaware and a sister: Angeline Baker.
