Lois I. VanBrimmer-Rush, 68, of Delaware, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2009 at her residence, with her family by her side.

She was born on September 30, 1940 in Delaware, to the late Walter and Pauline (Clark) Morgan. She grew up in the Delaware County Children’s Home. She was a 1958 Graduate of Delaware Willis High School. She had been employed in nursing at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, for 18 years and then was employed in nursing at the Delaware Arbor’s Nursing Home for over 20 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and no matter what she was doing, would drop everything, to help her family.

She is survived by her 3 daughters- Terri (Michael) Davis of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Kelley (Scott) Nichols of Delaware and Diana (Nick) Wolfe of Marion; 5 grandchildren- Aaron Fox, Casey Fox, Nathan Nichols, Corbin Nichols and Alexandria Wolfe; 1 brother- Jim (Jeanie) Morgan of S. Carolina; 2 sisters- Barbara (Dick) Gale of Westerville and Carol Dowden of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents that have preceded her in death, was her husband- Ronald Joe VanBrimmer in 2000; a daughter- Terry Jo VanBrimmer; 1 brother- George Mason; and 1 sister- Janet Klingel.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 4-7 p.m., in the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 West William Street, Delaware, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Patricia Stout, Chaplain of Homereach Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in the Waldo Cemetery, Waldo. Following the burial, the family cordially invites all those in attendance to join them for a luncheon in the Community Room of the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home.
