Lois Adrienne Walker, 77 of Delaware, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Ohio Living Sarah Moore Home in Delaware, Ohio surrounded by family.
Born May 29, 1944 in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of the late Richard Gordon & Mary (Wheeler) Crane. Lois graduated from high school in 1962. Lois worked as a service manager for Cantwell Machinery in Columbus, Ohio for 32 years, before retiring.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Todd (Shirley) Weis, Tab (Jade) Weis, Tracy (Richard) Allen, Troy (Angie) Weis, Terri (Robert Bretz) Samson, Tina (Kimlyn) Weis; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brother Richard Crane; sisters Rickie Crane, and Sandy Hammond; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with special nurses and caregivers Susie, Dawn, and Chaplain Jeff Slider.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Walker in 1995; sister Marsha Schwarz 2021.
Lois enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies and Hallmark Christmas movies, especially with her grand-dogs Charlie and Piper by her side. She enjoyed reading, especially about the England Monarchy. Lois’s greatest gift in the world were her children. Those close to her will remember her as the loving, caring, and intelligent, mother, grandmother, sister, an aunt that she was. She cherished the memories of being the official snow cone maker for all the P-Lane family gatherings.
Chaplain Jeff Slider will officiate committal services on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11:15 am at the Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio in the Mausoleum Chapel, where friends may call on the family from 10:00 am until the graveside services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be directed towards OhioHealth Hospice, or Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43214
The family would like to express their deep gratitude and appreciation for the nurses and staff of the Ohio Living Sarah Moore Home, for the care and comfort they gave Lois over the past month.
