Sunbury, Ohio

Lindsey Noel Sheats, age 33, of Sunbury, OH, passed peacefully Monday afternoon, July 31, 2017 at the James Cancer Hospital following a two year battle with Round Cell Sarcoma.

She asks us all to just “Love one another as she loves us.”

We say goodbye now, knowing we will be together again. Daughters are precious and Linds was one of kind! We are instructed to choose joy and Linds sure did. We will always have that to hold onto until we meet up again. Linds learned her great spirit from Betty and Mike, which are special to me. Her legacy will live on, which is a tremendous trait! God Bless you and your family, always!

  • Lindsey was such a sweet soul. I knew her only briefly but she was strong, kind and courageous and the light of her mother’s life. That light will burn strong with the memory of who Lindsey was and the legacy she leaves! She will be missed.

  • Lindsey was a true fighter, she fought this horrible disease with every fibre of her being. Stay strong Bet love you and thinking of you always xxx

  • Sending our deepest condolences to the family. We didn’t know Lindsey personally, but I knew through her Mom that she was a fighter and tried with all her might to rid her body of this terrible disease through treatment. God had a different plan for her. May she rest in peace and in the arms of our dear Lord now.

  • My Dear Betty & Mike and family,
I love you all so much. I know how difficult this time is for you. Lindsey was a great person and a fighter to try and over come this terrible disease. she will always be with you in your heart.
    Love you all,
    Berta and Greg Blake

  • I am very sorry for your loss. The Bible offers hope for those who have lost loved ones in death. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) Soon death will be a thing of the past, and the pain that it causes us now, will be removed. Those who have fallen asleep in death will be brought back to life and have the prospect of living forever in paradise on earth. We can believe the promise that death will be no more because it is “impossible for God to lie.” (Hebrews 6:18) May this hope comfort your hearts during this difficult time.

  • Lindsey and I shared a love of anime, art, and things of Japan. We communicated about all of these. It was fun sharing which ones we liked and loved. We delighted to find we like the same video games… she found fun since I am an “older” cousin. She is a sweet, beautiful, talented soul. Strong and fierce in the things and more importantly the people she loved. She is close in age to my kids. I know she would have enjoyed and fit right in with them.
We will see you again, and I am sure it will be an amazing time. I am just relieved that she is not longer in pain. What a strong woman and a fighter she was, all the way to the end.
Hugs to you Betty, Mike, Seth and the rest of the family.
I will not be there at the memorial, but I will be keeping you all in prayer.
    Love you all much.
