Linda Mae (Hartman) Morrison

Linda Mae (Hartman) Morrison, age 70, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2017, after battling a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wilford Forrest Morrison Jr. whom she married on July 16, 1966. She is also survived by her children: Teresa (Arden) Stannard, Holli (Jay) Hess, Jill (Dan) Lewis, Niki (Mace) Roose, Kelly Morrison, and Brandon (Nicole) Morrison; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; her siblings Ellen (John) Crawford, Sue Swisher, Jerry (Andrea) Hartman, and Ronald Hartman; brothers and sisters-in-law: Herb (Zelma) Morrison, Carol Gossett, Ellen (rich) Groh, Shleba (Al) Davis, and Ron Morrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda’s passion was her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family. You could always count on finding a house full of guests with amazing food any time you visited her. Linda had a welcoming nature and spent her life taking care of and helping others.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Gerald Charles Hartman and Betty Bell Hartman (Bending). She was also preceded in death by her parents-in-law Wilford Forrest Morrison Sr. and Wilma Eloise Morrison (Oliver); brother-in-law, Dick Gossett; and her son-in-law, Gary Gene Adkins.

A graveside celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Shauck Cemetery in Johnsville, OH.

    So sorry to hear about your loss. I didn’t know Linda that well only the few times I met you guys when you were at my Dad’s house. In fact, the last time I saw you guy’s she was pregnant with your son. I remember her being very friendly with a great smile and she was very proud of her family.
