Levi Storm Lacey

June 05, 1991 ‒ October 31, 2010

Lexington, Ohio

LEXINGTON: Carefree and funny, loud and even a little obnoxious, Levi Storm Lacey was your typical teenager, full of life. He’d walk into the room often dropping his favorite one-liner, “Guess What?” only to get chuckles from family and friends.

Levi was known for his big hugs and even larger smile. Sadly a vibrant life was shortened on Sunday morning October 31, 2010. Levi Storm Lacey of Lexington passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was just 19.

Levi was born in Mansfield on June 5, 1991. He attended Lexington High School where he was active on the wrestling team and ran track. He was a hard-hitting linebacker for the Minutemen Football team but his favorite sport was cross-country.

A typical day for Levi included playing his X-Box 360, texting, and listening to rap and alternative music just loud enough to pester those close by. Levi loved hanging out at Denny’s with his friends.

He attended Discover Church.

Levi loved his family and shared a special bond with a few close cousins. He will forever by apart of the three musketeers including Levi, Phoebe Isaac and Andrew Kopina.

Levi is survived by his loving parents Richard and Mary Lacey of Lexington; sisters Stephanie, Eden, Zoe, and Kristi; paternal grandparents Richard and Maria Lacey of Mansfield; maternal grandmother Danica Joncevska of Macedonia; aunts and uncles Joseph Lacey of Mansfield, Zoraida Lacey of Lexington, Michelle and Eddy Snyder of Mansfield, Faye Milenkovska of Macedonia, Blagoj Joncevski of Macedonia; numerous cousins and extended family.

Levi was preceded in death by his brother Milan Lacey and sister Makayla Lacey; maternal grandfather Milan Joncevski; great grandparents Fernando and Hortense Silva; uncle Steven L. Kopina.

The Lacey family will receive friends Thursday November 4, 2010 from 3-8pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will follow on Friday, November 5 at 11am. Pastor Jeff Shaull will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Levi Storm Lacey Memorial Fund be made at the funeral home.
