MANSFIELD: Leta Joann Henry peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was 81.

She was born April 9, 1934 to parents John Paul & Florence Claire (Brock) Roller in Ashland County and graduated from Loudonville High School. On May 7, 1955, she married Doyle C. Henry and they shared 16 years of marriage until he passed away in 1971.

Leta worked as a bookkeeper and was a skilled seamstress: she sewed clothing for area clients out of her home. In her spare time she took pleasure in watching classic movies.

Leta was a longtime member of Diamond Hills Baptist Church in Mansfield where she served as a deacon. She was also a member of the Soroptimist Club.

She is survived by children Steve & Lori Henry, Mindy & Bill Burge, and Ken Henry all of Mansfield; granddaughter Cheyenne Henry of South Carolina; and siblings Kathryn & Jim Pagniano of Wooster and Tom & Deb Glenn of Loudonville.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Kenneth, Edward, and Robert Roller.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date in Mansfield Memorial Park.

Contributions in her memory to Hospice of North Central Ohio may be made at the funeral home.
