Leonard Franklin Miller II, 59, of Delaware passed away early Tuesday morning March 22, 2011 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born March 13, 1952 in Canton, Ohio to James and Virginia (Call) Miller. A retired minister serving churches in the Johnstown and Pickerington areas, as well as the Eastern United States, he was a member of the Delaware Christian Church. He also served as chaplain of RACE (Rapid Assistance to Community Emergencies) in Delaware County. He is survived by his wife of 17 ½ years, Jane Ann (Snider) Benz-Miller; 2 daughters, Anne Miller of Delaware and Elizabeth Miller of Canton; stepchildren, Beverly Benz of Delaware and Charles Benz of Cedar Park, Texas; grandson, Jordan Benz; granddaughter, Raven Lilly Miller; step granddaughter, Aubrey Renee Benz; brother, Timothy Miller of Franklin, Ohio; sister, Sandy Russell of Wellsville, Ohio; in laws, Carlos and Wanda Snider of Thornville. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Linda. The family will receive friends on Friday March 25th from 6 – 9 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 26th at 11:00 am at the Delaware Christian Church, 2280 W. William Street (St. Rt. 36), Delaware with his cousin, Rick Miller officiating.
