LeeAnn Taylor, 44, of St. Rt. 314, Mount Gilead, Ohio died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 in Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.
She was a lifelong Morrow County resident, where she was born on November 19, 1958, the daughter of George “Bill” and Alice Spearman Van Horn who survive near Chesterville. She graduated from Highland High School in 1977. She was the office manager of the dental office of Stephen W. Ritz, DDS in Mount Gilead. She was a member of the Edison Enterprise Baptist Church where she was very active with the youth groups. LeeAnn also was a member of Heartbeat of Morrow County.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband James “Jamie” Taylor, whom she married May 24, 1980; a son Jamie Lee Taylor of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; a daughter Elizabeth R. Taylor of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; a brother Pastor Rick (Kathy) Van Horn of Churubusco, Indiana; and her nieces and nephews David, Nathan, Kaly and Anna Van Horn.
Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Pastors Ed Colegrove and Rick Van Horn will conduct funeral services Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Edison Enterprise Baptist Church.
