Lawrence John Cavinee passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Majora Lane in Millersburg after a short illness.

He was born on January 15, 1936, to John Cavinee and Alice Bowen Cavinee Bowman in Toledo, Ohio. Lawrence graduated from Loudonville High School with the class of 1954 and went on the serve his country in the US Air Force from 1955-1959.

He worked at Mansfield Sanitary in Perrysville for 40 years until retiring.

He is survived by the mother of his children Yoshiko Emmy Cavinee; his children Irene (Tom) Alexander of Glenmont, Lola Lehman of Ashland, and Christopher Cavinee of Orlando, FL; grandchildren Joseph (Ariana) Alexander, Andrew Alexander, Jonathan Lehman, Jennifer Lehman (Julian IV) Adams, and Joscelyn Lehman; great-grandchildren Julian Adams V and Jonas Adams; and his siblings Penelope Bowman of Butler and Anthony Bowman of Loudonville.

Lawrence is preceded by his parents; brother Tom Cavinee; his wife Mary Jane; step-mom Wavelet Cavinee; and step-dad Bob Bowman.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10- 11 a.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home-Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville.
