Larry W. “Bubba” Young, Jr., 46, of 834 Crew Ave., Galion, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006 at Galion Community Hospital..

Born Sept. 6, 1959 in Galion, he was the son of Larry W. Young, Sr. and Doris L. Kennedy Young of Galion.

He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1978. He was baptized at Connett Methodist Church in Nelsonville. Amongst other social clubs he has been a member of Galion Moose Lodge 303 for 24 years. His favorite past times were the Carolina Panthers and being an avid NASCAR fan. He has worked at the former Red’s Bar in Galion, Benjamin Steel in Mansfield and most recently, Mike’s Pub in Galion where he was the manager.

Surviving are his three sons, Brett Young of Galion, Cory Young of Shelby, Rusty Reed of Cleveland; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Michele Wilhelm of North Chili, N.Y. and Carla and Steven Ness of Galion; his beloved friend and former wife, Barb Young of Galion; grandfathers, Donald Drown of Bucyrus and Clarence Young of Galion; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many close friends..

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wilma Zeger Drown and grandparents, Thomas and Mabel Kennedy.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Loyd Caudill officiating and long time family friend, John Sipes offering the eulogy.
