Larry Alan See, 61, of rural Galion, died unexpectedly Friday, August 5, 2011 at Galion Community Hospital Emergency Room.
Born February 21, 1950 in Galion, he was the son of the late Francis “Frank” See and Dorothy Young See. He married Lynn M. Fortney See on April 26, 1975 and she survives.
Larry graduated from Galion High School in1968 and was a self-employed auto body technician owning and operating See’s Auto Body at his residence for nearly 30 years. Prior to that, he worked for Kitzmiller’s Service Center in Galion. Always liking to keep busy, if he wasn’t working he was most likely building or remodeling something or working outside in his yard or garden. He was currently building a porch onto his home. Larry was kind natured, accepting of others and willing to help all.
In addition to his wife of 36 years he is also survived by three children, Eric See and his wife, Tina of Galion, Benjamin See and his wife, Danielle of Kokomo, Ind. and Amie See of Galion; three grandchildren, Brianne York and Ezekiel and Abigail See; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nancy See of Lebanon, Tenn. and two nephews, Don and Ron See of Tenn.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion. Larry will be interred at Oak Grove Memorial Park in Lexington where services will be held for his immediate family with Pastor Marcellus de Oliveira officiating.
