Larry A. Kearns

Larry A. Kearns, age 69, of Mansfield, passed away Friday evening, November 20, 2015, at the Hospice of North Central Ohio facility.

He was born in Kenton, OH, on November 15, 1946, to the late Alva and Mary Ann (Keller) Kearns. Larry was a graduate of Highland High School in the class of 1964.

Shortly after high school, Larry joined the United States Army. After his honorable discharge Larry went on to serve in the Army Reserve.

For 32 years, Larry worked for General Motors until his retirement.

On September 19, 1968, Larry married the love of his life, Vicki Eberle. Together they have shared 47 years of marriage.

Larry will be dearly missed by his wife, Vicki; son, Larry (Korrie) Kearns; daughter, Lisa (Randy) Timmons; grandchildren: Nick and Mathew Kearns, Danielle and Dylan Timmons; brothers: John Kearns and Lloyd (Donna) Kearns; sisters: Carol (Doug) Hollingsworth, Connie (Rex) Payne, Karen (Sterling) Boggs, and Kathie (Chris) Henwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant grandson; brother, Ken; a niece and a nephew.

A private family graveside service will take place in Shauck Cemetery.
