Lana C. Kline-Boyd

Lana C. Kline-Boyd, 66, of rural Galion fought a courageous battle with cancer and went to heaven surrounded by her family, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her home.
She was born April 29, 1948 in Crestline and was the daughter of Russell and Marjorie (Taylor) Kline.
Lana married Harold E. Boyd on July 2, 1999 and he survives.
She was a 1966 graduate of Galion High School and worked at the former Caleb V. Smith for many years. Lana attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Galion Owls Club and looked forward to camping trips. Lana loved her cats and flowers.
In addition to her husband, Lana is survived by her brother, Emmett (Arlene) Anderson; her sister Chelsea Jean Kline all of Galion; three step-children, Laura (Matt) Stover of Robson, W.Va., Jeff Boyd of Bucyrus, Michelle D. (Danny) Bowmar of Willard; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loved ones too numerous to name.
The family would like to thank HomeCare Matters and Hospice for all the caring nurses and aids for their unselfish caring. At Lana’s wishes, there will be no funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
