Lalah L. Hall, age 83 of Radnor passed away at home Saturday, February 3, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 1, 1934 on the family farm in Johnstown to the late Donovan “Lance” and Minnie (Ashbrook) Disbennett. Lalah graduated from Carrollton High School in 1952 and worked as a secretary for Buckeye Insurance and other entities. She also worked with Sears in the financial field.

Strong in her faith, she was a member of Northgate Church and had formerly directed the choir of the Sunbury Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society of Waldo and George Lewis Behrens Chapter No. 504 OES. A talented musician, she sang and both played and taught the accordian. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and collecting watches, Fenton glassware, bells, and jewelry.

She spent over 25 years in the Johnstown area before moving to Wesleyan Woods in Delaware, she also spent 13 winters in Haines City, Florida. Fiercely independent and strong willed, simply put she did it her way.

Lalah will be remembered for her helping ways and love of family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years and partner in life Delmar “Arnie” Hall, sons: David (Suzette) of Radnor, Douglas of Galion, Daniel of Hilliard; grandchildren Shawntel (Brian) Bazell, Joshua (Holly) Hall, Adam (Jill) Hall, Jamie (Steve) Postell, Mary Hall, Rebecca Hall, Jodi White, JoAnne Crum, Jennifer (Jason) Butler, and Lorie (Allen) Cox; great-grandchildren Brandon, Sarah, and Blaine Bazell, Reagan and Donovan Hall, Harper,  Cole Postell; Christopher Hall, Samantha and Elaine Sherman, Adrianna, Alexandra, and Constance Craven, Hannah White and Chevelle Woodard, Jazmin and Preston Crum, Hunter and Carson Albright  and Zoie Smith; sister Donna Cook of Westerville.

Lalah was also preceded in death by son Dale Donovan Hall, daughter Becky Jo Feazel, granddaughter Jessica and an infant sister.

Lalah’s family would like to thank the staff of Ohio Health Hospice of Marion for their care and support over the past several weeks; they cared for Lalah as she was one of their family members.

A celebration of Lalah’s life will be held Saturday February 10th, 2018 from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the Thompson Township Hall, 4373 State Route 257 N., Radnor, Ohio, 43066. Burial will take place at a later date in Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown.
