L. Lewis Hearn

L. Lewis Hearn, 63, of 419 Second Ave., Galion, died Sunday, November 28, 2004 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness.
Born Aug. 6, 1941 in Galion, he was the son of the late William H. Hearn and Reatha Atkins Hearn.
He graduated from Galion High School in 1959, Urbana Junior College in 1962 and from North Central Technical College with degrees in Computer Science, Political Science and Engineering. He was employed at Galion AMCO for 17 years as a machinist.
Surviving is one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Dianna Hearn of Galion; one niece, Elnora Stallings of Galion; three nephews, Roger Hearn of Tucson, Ariz., William J. Hearn of Galion and David S. and Becky Hearn of Columbus and great nephew, Trevor Hearn; Lewis’ longtime companion, Robin Barber with whom he made his home for many years and her children, Michael Barber of Kentucky and Edith Barber of Bucyrus and Robins two grandchildren, Salem Barber and Zachery Hedges.
He was preceded in death by a half brother, George Hearn.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. December 1, with Rev. Paul Walter, officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
