  • So sorry for your loss. I remember Kolton in the lunch line at Cardington. He always had something to say.

  • Kolton, you’re such a kind-hearted kid. You played catch with my 10 year old son a few years ago when your dad and I were playing softball at Smith Park and my son thought it was so cool to be playing with a teenager. You really made his day. To your family, I am so sorry. The entire Buckeye Valley community will keep you in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

    With Love,
    John Longo

  • I am still without words. Kolton you will be missed. For many years after you were born I remember visiting the Honeter house watching you grow into the man you became. Even though I didn’t come around much I still tried my hardest to follow all of your accomplishments. I could not believe 19 years went past so fast. Last time I seen you, spoken to you at your grandpas funeral I couldn’t believe of how much you had grown into a bright, smart, friendly and lovely man, not to mention how much you looked just like your dad. I am sending my condolences along with praying for the family and friends you have left behind. Until we meet again.

  • I coached against him for many years in the Buckeye Valley Summer League. He was a tough competitor and extremely passionate about baseball. My prayers go out to the family during this tragic time.

  • I’m going to miss his smile he was always so happy I’m so sorry for your loss I don’t have words

  • We played side by side at Linebacker for 2 years bub. We rode in the back of Tami’s truck on lawn chairs from football because she didn’t want to smell us. We got in trouble on your dirt bikes. Our locker was almost side by side. We graduated together. I was always there for you and vice versa. I just can’t believe you’re actually gone. I’m going to miss you man. Rest easy #25.

  • Dear Kolton,

I’m going to write this condolence to you, I wasn’t close to you, but I knew you since you came to Cardington. The laughs and smiles you had and could put on other peoples faces would brighten up the darkest of times. So much talent, so many strong characteristics. Everyone knew the love you held for your family and how protective you were of them. The few sentences we had spoke to each other I will cherish endlessly. I have sent many words in prayer to you and for your love ones. Ever since Friday I have lit off a Chinese lantern and exchanged words to celebrate you! Only you know the truth and the truth only. I believe everyone is meant to come into certain people’s lives, I’m sure we are to cross paths again in this life or another. May you know the light you brought to those around you. I’ll never forget your handsome face and bright blue eyes. You will live on in my heart and through so many others, we shall keep your name alive, cross that bridge and find your peace. Its only goodbye for a little while.

  • RIP Kolton no words could ever express the loss family & friends are going thru….you will always be in our 💕 & never be forgotten. Every time you came to our house it was always with your big smile & hugs! Love you
