Kevin Bergman, 42, of Mount Gilead died unexpectedly on Sunday April 29, 2007 at his home.
He was born on December 4, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Dwight W. (Carol) Bergman, of Toledo, Ohio and Scharon L. (Jerry) Pullins of Buckeye Lake, Ohio.
Kevin worked as a design engineer for Gerling and Associates in Sunbury.
On March 20, 2004 he married his loving wife Karen S. Pauley Hoffman.
He was a true craftsman, ingeniously creative, and always looking for ways to work with his hands; whether as a cabinet maker or a larger endeavor such as building his own home. A project that took he and his wife nearly five years.
Kevin loved taking his boat out on Buckeye Lake, Lake Cumberland, the Ohio River, and Lake Erie. He was most at ease spending time outdoors.
He will be remembered as caring, mellow and easy going always willing to help a friend in need.
In addition to his parents and his wife he will be missed by his sister Jodie (Braham) Mirfendereski of Powell, Ohio; his step-son Matthew Hoffman; half brother Eric (Aprille) Pullins of Powell, Ohio; two step-brothers Jay (Sonia) Pullins of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jeff (Julie) Pullins of Powell, Ohio; a step-sister Patti (Jerald) Eckelberry of Centerburg, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at their home in Mount Gilead.
