Kenneth R. Fox

Kenneth R. Fox, age 53 of Galena passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 following a hard fought battle against diabetes.
He was born September 29, 1957 in Canton. A graduate of Perry High School in 1976, he went on to attend Stark State Community College and had been a resident of Delaware County since 1981.
Ken owned and operated V-2 Cycles in Worthington before he became ill. He was known as mechanic magician for his aptitude and skill with all engines, especially motorcycle. There was nothing that he could not fix.
Talkative in nature, he was a wonderful story teller. With a passion for motorcycles, especially the Harley Davidson deuce, he looked forward to time spent at the annual Daytona Bike Week. He also was a licensed pilot, who enjoyed camping and collecting tools. Ken will be remembered for his caring ways and love of family.
He is survived by his loving wife: Cindy L. (Sheets), children: Erin (Lindsay) Sumey of Akron, Andrew (Kinjal) Fox of Akron, Joe Barcus of New Stanton, PA, Stacy (Jon) Alfield of Gales Ferry, CT, Jen Barcus of Genoa, Ohio, Grandchildren: Marissa, Blane, Cody, Lexi, Kailyn, Reece, and Teagan, Mother: Ruth (Davis) Fox of Columbus, mother-in-law: Joan Sheets of Galena, numerous nieces and nephews including Stephanie (Nick) Bennett, Melissa (Ryan) Merkel, brothers: Edward (Patty) Fox, Christopher Fox, sisters: Kathy (Eric) Hilton, Faith Ann Walker.
Preceded in death by father: Eugene Fox and father-in-law: Edward Sheets.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes, services will be held privately by his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury.
