Kenneth D. Lambert

JOHNSVILLE: Kenneth D. Lambert, 54, of County Road 59, Mansfield, died Thursday, August 11, 2005 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a long illness.
He was born July 27, 1951 to Andrew, Jr. and Edna (Fultz) Lambert in Morehead, Kentucky, and attended Mansfield Senior High School.
Kenneth worked from 1989 to 1994 as a welder at Lilly Industries in Mt. Gilead, and at Weidles Meats as a butcher.
He could be found in front of his computer, however, he enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, his two dogs Candy and Max often by his side.
There was never a question about the way Kenneth loved his family as he showed daily in his own way.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Williams) Lambert whom he married April 1, 1983; two sons Brian Smith and David Pratt both of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law Patty and David Artrip of Perrysville; five grandchildren Jessika Pratt, Takoda Pratt, David Artrip, Jr., Jason Artrip, and Joseph Artrip; his mother Edna Fultz Cummings of Lexington; six siblings and their spouses Harold and Dayle Lambert of Johnsville, Jerry Lambert of Lexington, Diane VanHarlingen of Rocklin, California, Michael and Deborah Lambert of Columbus, Michelle and Rick Kucyr of Johnsville, and Arron Cummings of Lexington.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Mitchell.
Friends may call Saturday, August 13, 2005 from 5-7 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held at 7 pm. Pastor Dwight Stryker will officiate.
