Kelli L. (Myers) Ray

Kelli L. (Myers) Ray, age 45 of Delaware passed away Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at home surrounded by her family following a courageous 6 year battle against cancer.
She was born in Delaware on August 24, 1971 to Darrel and Mary (Stover) Myers who survive in Delaware. Kelli graduated from Delaware Hayes High School in 1989 and was a proud member of the girls’ soccer team.
Prior to her illness she worked as a cashier with the Lewis Center Meijer’s store. Kelli enjoyed a passion for country music and for singing karaoke, earning the nick name “Karaoke Kelli”. She also enjoyed bowling on the Saturday Night Church League. She was a loyal fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, favored playing dominos, and the slots at the casino.
Fiercely independent, she was strong willed and possessed a happy positive personality in spite of her battles. She will be remembered for her love of family and was most proud of her soccer and bowling skills.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her loving brother Kevin (Christine) Myers of Delaware, nieces Ashley and Taylor, as well as her supportive aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who provided tender loving care. Kelli and her family are thankful for their support and love.
Friends may call 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. St. Rt. 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074, where services will follow 10:00 a.m. on Thursday with Pastor Donnie Akers officiating and burial will follow in Berkshire Cemetery.
