Kathy Jean (Holycross) Jester, age 59, of LaRue, died on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at the Marion General Hospital of a broken heart, passing just five months after losing her husband, Harold.

During school, Kathy fell for one of her classmates, Harold H. Jester Jr., and they quickly knew they were meant for one another.  They were married on February 24, 1978, and cherished their forty two years of marriage together.  He preceded her in death on March 6, 2020.

For 14 years, Kathy worked as a custodian at Marion City Schools.  She also was a huge Ohio State University Buckeyes fan.

Most important of all to Kathy was her family.  Whatever was going on her with family, she loved being right in the middle of it.  If Harold was tinkering in the garage, she was out there helping him.  She cherished every moment spent with them.
