Kathleen R. Mullennix, age 50, of Edison, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2016, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

On July 9, 1965, Kathleen was born in Mount Gilead, OH, the daughter of the late Donald Ray Evans and Carol Ann (Murphy) Levings.  She graduated from Mount Gilead High School in the Class of 1984.

For many years, Kathleen worked as an aide at Woodside Village Care Center and also for Morrow County EMS.

Kathleen enjoyed playing cards, games, coloring, and spending time with her family, who was so very important to her.

She will be dearly missed by her two daughters: Kimberly and Jessica Mullennix of Edison; her significant other, Billy Jordan of Edison; her mother, Carol Levings of Edison; brother, Kevin (Toni) Evans of Edison; sister, Kandee Evans of Centerburg; step-brother, Dan (Malinda) Levings of Mount Vernon; and the father of her children, Lee Mullennix of Mount Gilead.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karla Evans, and a step-brother, David Levings.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Kathleen’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Edison Enterprise Baptist Church, 3055 St. Rt. 95 W., Edison, OH 43320, with Pastor Ed Colegrove officiating.
