MANSFIELD: Kathleen M. Davis, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was 84.

She was born May 29, 1931 to parents Daniel & Katherine (Franko) Krizan.

On November 12, 1949, she married Arlie Davis, Jr. and together, celebrated 60 years of marriage.

With Kathleen’s straight forward personality, she was always eager to share her opinions.  A loving wife, mom and grandma, Kathleen was dedicated to her family.  She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.

Kathleen is survived by her son Larry (Donna) Davis of Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandchildren Joshua (Lisa) Davis of Canton, James (Kenda) Davis of Chandler, Arizona, Robin (Miles) Ratliff of Fort Wayne, Indiana; great-grandchildren Shaina, Allison and Genevieve; sisters Mary Demyan of Mansfield, Carol (Robert) Simms of Ontario; sister-in-law Mary Krizan of Mansfield; brother-in-law Robert Davis of Columbus

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

The Davis family will receive friends Monday, July 27, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Tuesday July 28 at 11 a.m. Kathleen’s son, Pastor Larry Davis will speak. Burial in Mansfield Cemetery will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathleen’s memory may be made to St. John’s UCC Television Ministry, and may be made at the funeral home.

  • To Kathleen’s Family, I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady. Always spoke to me if not at church but when ever we would run into one another , whether it be at Kroger, or up at MedCentral.
    She was my Sunday school teacher at St. John’s U.C.C. and we had quite a few people in common . She was also friends with my Mother -in-law Nancy Eberts. My heart goes out to The Entire Family . Sending prayers your way.
